I believe in supporting our law enforcement so our neighborhoods, parks and communities are SAFE. A critical function of a county is to provide law enforcement and jail service. Ensuring the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office and Jail have the resources they need to enforce the law is of great importance to me. I will meet with the Sheriff on a regular basis to discuss the needs her department and officers face. I will be a strong advocate for close collaboration between the Sheriff’s Office and local departments serving District 2:
